Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the lovely Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week a new theme is suggested for bloggers to participate in. This week’s prompt is Books or Covers that Feel/Look Like Summer (You can interpret this in a number of ways. Maybe the covers or titles are obviously summer themed, but maybe the feeling the book gives you is all warm and summery. Maybe the book cover colors look summery or the story itself takes place in the summertime. Or maybe the titles you select are favorites that you re-read every summer when you were on break from school.)
Hello Readers! We’re inching closer and closer to the first day of summer here in the states, which means I only have a few weeks left to cross off the last few books on My Spring TBR. I’m determined to make it happen, but we’ll see if it does. π
I decided to twist today’s prompt just a bit because it hasn’t been very long since I did Books that Exude Summer and Book Covers That Feel Like Summer. I’m taking it very literal and just sharing books on my shelves with the word “summer” in the title, including two that share the same title! I feel like it ended up being a nice mix of romance, historical fiction, and middle grade fiction. AND I even managed not to duplicate any books from my previous posts.
Let’s see what I found!
(Link to Goodreads synopsis through book title.)

- The Summer Girl by Elle Kennedy
- Summer of ’69 by Elin Hilderbrand
- One S’more Summer by Beth Merlin
- The Firefly Summer by Morgan Matson
- Summerlost by Ally Condie

Have you read any of these books? Let me know in the comments!
ohh Maeve Binchy, her stories are so cozy and fun, i need to read this one. You made a great list, happy reading
Yes they are! But the size always overwhelms me, so I’ve only read a few of her books. I have several waiting on my bookshelf.
Oh this one would have been hard for me. I love the twist!
I just barely had enough to make 10 without repeats from other posts. π
I love the cover for Firefly Summer.
Here is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
Summer covers are usually so pretty!
One S’more Summer is not only a cute cover, but what an adorable name that is.
Here’s my summery TTT (:
Yes! It’s so cute. I have seen some mixed reviews, though, which is why I probably haven’t picked it up yet.
I loved reading all of the “summer” titles. The only one I’ve read is The Summer Girl.
I’m always surprised when I go to look by how many books I’ve read with specific words in the title. π
One S’more Summer is a great title!

π
Great picks! I didn’t know that Elle Kennedy had another book coming out! I still have the first two books of the series on my TBR and can’t wait to read them π
Oh, they’re fun! I hope you get to read them soon, Dini. π
So many fun covers with Summer in the title! I love it. π
This was an easy and fun prompt!
These are nice. Love the Condie one!
I need to read that one sometime soon. I love the cover, as well!
I love that you ended up with two books that have the same title! That’s really fun.

Purely by accident. π
I read Summer Lost a while back but remember it fondly, and I LOVED A Summer to Remember. That book was great
Yes, A Summer to Remember was such a nice surprise. Our Place on the Island is next up for me! I have high hopes. Summerlost is one I’d like to get to soon!
One S\more Summer sounds like it could be a fun read!

It does, doesn’t it?! I think it does have some mixed reviews, though.
These are great summery choices! I read A Summer to Remember last year and enjoyed it. My Top Ten Tuesday post is HERE.
β Diana @ Book of Secrets
It was such a nice surprise! Her next book, Our Place on the Island, is my next read. I’m hopeful I’ll love it just as much!
I never realized there were so many books out there with “summer” in the title. Awesome!
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

I’m always surprised when I go searching for titles with specific words. π
Nice twist, Dedra. Last summer I did this for my 20 Books of Summer list. I was shocked at how many I had on my TBR.
