Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Hope Santa Brings This Year

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the lovely Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week a new theme is suggested for bloggers to participate in. This week’s prompt is Books I Hope Santa Brings This Year!

Hello Readers! I hope today’s TTT finds you well! If you celebrate the holidays, I hope you’re past all the stressful parts and settling in to enjoy some festivities with your loved ones. And reading great books, of course!

I’m currently on a bit of an unplanned blog hiatus, but I promise to return comments when I can get back! Thankfully I had this TTT in the drafts. πŸ™‚

Today I’ll be sharing the top ten books I would love Santa to leave under my tree. I’m only choosing books that have been published. Let me know if we share any on our wishlist! πŸŽ„

(Link to Goodreads synopsis through book title.)

  1. Tom Lake by Ann Patchett
  2. Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone by Diana Gabaldon
  3. Heartstopper: Volume 5 by Alice Oseman
  4. The Winners (Beartown, #3) by Fredrik Backman
  5. In the Weeds (Lovelight, #2) by B.K. Borison
  6. Check & Mate by Ali Hazelwood
  7. Brother’s Keeper by Julie Lee
  8. Undertaking of Hart and Mercy by Megan Bannen
  9. Jade City by Fonda Lee
  10. Jane Eyre by Charlotte BrontΓ« (Penguin Clothbound Edition)

Have you read any of the books I’m wishing for? Let me know in the comments!

Happy Holidays and Happy Wandering!

    1. Happy to hear you enjoyed The Winners and In the Weeds, Carla. Hopefully we both enjoy Tom Lake when we get to it. I did get my clothbound edition of Jane Eyre, so that was a nice surprise. <3

  1. Great choices! I loved Tom Lake, The Winners, In the Weeds, and Hart & Mercy. I hope you get them all. Merry Christmas!

  2. I haven’t read any of these, but I love the Heartstopper series, and Tom Lake is on my list as well. I’ve gotten a little burned out on Ali Hazelwood though. I hope you receive some of these and enjoy them!

    1. I can understand why you might get burned out on Hazelwood. I didn’t end up getting her book, but it just became available through my Libby waitlist. Hopefully I enjoy it! πŸ˜‰

  3. I read Jane Eyre when I was about 8! WAY too advanced for me, but I remember I enjoyed it. I read ALL of Backman’s Beartown books, including The Winners and loved them all. I haven’t read any of the others. Fingers crossed you get most, if not all of these.

    1. Wow! Yeah, 8 is early. I read it in high school and then reread it a few years ago. It holds up! I did end up getting the clothbound edition for Christmas, so that was a fun addition to my collection. πŸ™‚
