Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the lovely Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week a new theme is suggested for bloggers to participate in. This week’s prompt is a Freebie!
Hello Readers! I hope this week’s TTT finds you well. I’m currently on a blogging hiatus, but I did schedule some posts ahead of time. I’ll be back soon!
For the freebie this week, I decided to look at the last ten books included in my Book HookUp subscription box from The Strand that I still haven’t read. My box is quarterly and comes four times a year. There are typically 2 young adult books in each box, so they can add up. My summer box arrived in late June and it had me thinking about all the books I’ve added to my shelves thanks to the subscription. I won’t be including my June books since I really haven’t had much time to read them yet.
Let’s see what I still need to read!
(Link to Goodreads synopsis through book title.)
- Daughter by Kate McLaughlin
- She Is a Haunting by Trang Thanh Tran
- Belladonna by Adalyn Grace
- How to Make Friends with the Dark by Kathleen Glasgow
- A Year to the Day by Robin Benway
- Loveless by Alice Oseman
- The Lying Woods by Ashley Elston
- You’ll Be the Death of Me by Karen M. McManus
- The Witch Haven by Sasha Peyton Smith
- Here the Whole Time by Vitor Martins
See any I should move up my TBR? Let me know in the comments!
I haven’t read any of these! But several of them do look really good. π
Maybe I’ll get to them someday! π
These look good! But it highlights the one reason I haven’t ever gotten myself a book subscription box… I would never be able to keep up with it, and then I would feel guilty! I hope you enjoy these when you get to them!

Haha! I hear ya. I didn’t think about the fact that I probably wasn’t doing much to encourage subscription boxes with this post. I have read several books from my boxes. A few I wouldn’t have read otherwise have even become favorites. π
These sound great!
Fingers crossed!
The Lying Woods was so good! I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did, but it was great. I am a die-hard McManus fan, so loved that one too. A Year to the Day wasn’t as shocking as I thought it would be, but it was emotional for sure. Hope you are enjoying your hiatus and that you get to read some of these great books
Oooh, thank you for all the tips. That’s why I like to do these posts. Helps me move books up the tbr. π
I read Year to the Day recently. That’s an interesting book. I hope you get to all of these soon.
Interesting, huh? π I’m super curious about it.
I haven’t read any of them, but will look forward to your reviews.
Thank you!
Enjoy your blogging hiatus!
I write and schedule posts ahead of time for my blogging hiatusβ, too. π
Here is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
I had a great break! Yeah, I can’t seem to stop cold turkey, either. π
I haven’t read any of these, but several of them are on my TBR list. I hope you enjoy all these when you get to them!
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
