Hello Readers! We only have two official days left of summer here in the states. Fall will officially start on September 22nd, even though the temps have risen back into the upper 90s here this week. We’re also in the midst of Banned Book Week, which is especially important this year with the unprecedented amount of books being challenged lately. Especially here in Texas. An easy way to show our support is by reading and promoting banned books—all year long!

When I took a look back at My Summer TBR, I was happy to see I’d managed to read all of the books that made my list—except one, The House in the Cerulean Sea. But it IS my current read! Yay! I don’t know if any of the books on my Fall TBR are actually fall-ish, which makes me a little sad because I am a seasonal reader, but once again my ARCs and yearly reading challenge demand attention before I make time for Nanowrimo in November. However, I’m very excited about all of my selections!

One of my backlist books waiting on my shelf, I moved this one up the TBR when I heard the adaptation was coming soon. As a child of the 80s, I’m excited for this one! It would also be my first book by Hendrix.

Okay, so yes, the only reason this book came under my radar is the adaptation coming out staring Harry Styles, but that doesn’t automatically mean I’ll read a book. What made me add it to my overflowing TBR were all the mixed reviews on Goodreads. There’s nothing like mixed reviews to made me want to pick a book up! It typically means I’ll enjoy it, and I like the challenge. So when I came across the ebook on sale, I snatched it up.

I enjoyed the first book, West Side Love Story inspired by Romeo and Juliet—which inspired West Side Story. This one is inspired by The Taming of the Shrew!

#10 is a two-parter. When I was approved for the fourth book in the Well Met series, I knew that meant I needed to get caught up. So I’ll be reading the third book before I pick up Well Traveled. I’m excited to finally get April’s story.
