Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the lovely Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week a new theme is suggested for bloggers to participate in. This week’s prompt is Most Anticipated Books Releasing In the First Half of 2022.
Hello Readers! Happy New Year! Anyone else out there scrambling to catch up on blog posts?? The end of 2021 came fast for me and I didn’t have any end-of-the-month or year posts ready to go. Which also means I haven’t had time to read, as well. But once I get to it, I’ve got great reads ahead!
I didn’t want to repeat books, so I won’t be sharing any of the books I already shared in My Winter 2021-2022 TBR. But there are plenty of other books I’m excited about! I may not get to all of these as they’re released, but hopefully soon after. Once again, May looks to be a great month for new books!
Let’s see what I narrowed my list down to!
(Link to Goodreads synopsis through book title.)
- Running Wild (Wild, #3) by K.A. Tucker – I’m beyond thrilled there’s a new book in The Simple Wild world! Marie wasn’t a favorite character of readers, but I completely trust Tucker to make us fans! (expected January 25, 2022)
- One Italian Summer by Rebecca Serle – Serle can be a polarizing author, but I’ve enjoyed her previous two books, The Dinner List and In Five Years, so I was happy to be approved for her next book! (expected March 1, 2022)
- The Suite Spot (Beck Sisters, #2) by Trish Doller – I had no idea when I read Float Plan last year that it would become a series, but I’m so happy it did! Very excited for Rachel’s story, which is getting great early reviews. (expected March 8, 2022)
- The No-Show by Beth O’Leary – I finally read my first book by O’Leary last year, quickly read a second, and now I’m a big fan. I’m loving the sound of this one, but since I was declined for an advance copy, it may be a while before I get to it. (expected April 12, 2022)
- Bravely by Maggie Stiefvater – I’ll read anything Maggie writes, and Merida is one of my favorite Disney princesses. My request for this one has been ‘pending’ for months. Fingers crossed I eventually get approved. (expected May 3, 2022)
- Book Lovers by Emily Henry – I got lucky and won an ARC of Beach Read, but I haven’t snagged a Henry ARC since. I’ll have to wait for this one along with the rest of the world. (expected May 3, 2022)
- Family of Liars: The Prequel to We Were Liars by E. Lockhart – We Were Liars is a book that has stuck with me, so I was stoked to hear Lockhart had written a prequel! (expected May 3, 2022)
- Every Summer After by Carley Fortune – My only debut to make the list, this romance sounds intense and soul-crushing. Just the way I like them. And the early reviews are glowing! (expected May 10, 2022)
- Something Wilder by Christina Lauren – I was beyond thrilled to hear there would be a new CLo book. AND it’s set in Utah, which is a destination high up on my mountain-biking husband’s bucket list. AND it’s about a treasure hunt??!! I’ve been invited to read the last two CLo books, so every day I’m hoping for an invitation to arrive. π
- West Side Love Story by Priscilla Oliveras – A Latin-inspired version of West Side Story and Romeo and Juliet?? Yes, please! And it’s set in my home state of Texas. (expected June 1, 2022)
Do we share any books on our most anticipated list? Have you read any of these yet? Let me know in the comments!

Running Wild made my list, too. I can’t wait to return to Trapper’s Crossing.

I started The Suite Spot this morning and am almost done already. So good! I want to read most of the books, so fingers crossed, they are great for both of us.
