Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the lovely Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week a new theme is suggested for bloggers to participate in. This week’s prompt is Characters Iβd Like to go on Vacation With (Pretend youβre going on vacation and can bring 10 of your closest friends with you. Pick your vacation spot and tell us who youβd like to bring! Bonus point if you tell us why. Or maybe you like the idea of traveling in small groups, so plan 10 trips or 5 trips!)
Hello Readers! I’m terrible at remembering characters, so I started to skip this week. But then as I started perusing my books, I realized I could come up with a list pretty easily. I found myself gravitating to characters who are pretty much the opposite of me—adventurous, outgoing, and outspoken. People who would take the pressure off of me to make decisions and let me just sit back and enjoy our vacation. π€£
Let’s see who’d I’d like to travel with!
(Link to Goodreads synopsis through book title.)
- Riley from The Getaway List by Emma Lord (My Review)
- Izzy from The Wake-Up Call by Beth O’Leary
- Raine from Last Call at the Local by Sarah Grunder Ruiz (My Review)
- Tilly from Tilly in Technicolor by Mazey Eddings (My Review)
- Fizzy from The True Love Experiment by Christina Lauren
- Carla from Off the Map by Trish Doller (My Review)
- Nina from Luck & Last Resorts by Sarah Grunder Ruiz (My Review)
- Bonnie from The Highland Fling by Meghan Quinn

Here is my Top Ten Tuesday.
I think so! π
I haven’t read any of these but I feel like I need to! I love all of these covers.
I definitely gravitate toward bright, pretty covers!
The Getaway List sounds pretty cute. I’d like to read it sometime.
I thought it was a lot of fun!
such bright and colorful covers! My TTT
Yes! They all have great covers that make me smile. π
A lot of these look like they’re vacation books already! You could just join them on their adventure. π
Here’s my TTT this week: https://bookwyrmknits.com/2024/04/16/top-ten-tuesday-come-sail-away/
Exactly what I was thinking! π
Tillie and Bonnie would both be a lot of fun to travel with.
Wouldn’t they?!
Lily and Carla would be very fun travel companions! π
Yes!! So many adventures!
I do think I could have a good time with Fizzy and Poppy (I need my name to end in Y too)
They would make sure of it, right?! π You can be Sammy… Ha!
Great choices!
Thank you!

Thank you! <3
It makes sense to travel with someone who’s your opposite. My husband is like that and he’s my favorite traveling companion, which is very convenient! Ha ha.
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
