Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the lovely Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week a new theme is suggested for bloggers to participate in. This week’s prompt is Book Covers In the Colors of My Countryβs Flag (Itβs the 4th of July in the USA today, so tell us what country you live in and share book covers that match the colors of your countryβs flag!)
Hello Readers! I’m currently on my first ever blogging hiatus. I’ve been blogging for almost four years, and I felt like it was finally time for a break. I have scheduled some things ahead of time—like this post. But I’m planning to step away for about two weeks. I promise I’ll blog hop when I return! π
Some days I’m not too happy with America. We have a lot of issues right now, but I know we have a lot to be thankful for, as well. Since I’ve done way too many TBR posts lately, I decided to only use books I’ve read.
Here are my Red, White, and Blue covers! πΊπΈ
- Dark Matter by Blake Crouch
- The Honey-Don’t List by Christina Lauren – My Review
- Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
- Blame It on the BrontΓ«s by Annie Sereno – My Review
- Alias Emma by Ava Glass – My Review
- She Said by Jodi Kantor & Megan Twohey
- Keep Me Posted by Lisa Beazley
- Just One Day by Gayle Forman
- Beneath Beautiful by Allison Rushby
- From Lukov With Love by Mariana Zapata
- Faithful by Alice Hoffman
- Bad Girl Reputation by Elle Kennedy – My Review
- All We Ever Wanted by Emily Giffin
- Signal Moon by Kate Quinn
- The Night Swim by Megan Goldin – My Review
Have you read any of these books? Let me know in the comments!
Love your book flag! Simon is a real favorite and I enjoyed All We Ever Wanted. I think Lukov is the next one I’ll be reading from Zapata.
Oooh, I hope you enjoy Lukov. It’s still probably my favorite of Zapata’s.
Those are great covers! I’ve only read one of your books today, though (Dark Matter). Have a great blog break!

Dark Matter made me a fan of Crouch. π
You found so many great covers in red, white and blue! I love it. π
Thank you!!
Very nice flag there.
Here is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
Thank you Lydia!
Lovely selection for this week’s topic!
Thank you Alicia!
Interestingly enough I’ve only read one book from your list. We usually have more books in common!
Oh wow! That is rare. π
Enjoy your break, Dedra. I have read 7 of these books but have a few of them on my TBR. I agree, we both have great countries (Canada) and lots of freedom not found elsewhere.
Thank you Carla! I had a very nice break. I’m easing back into the swing of things this week. π
Welcome back, Dedra.
