TBR Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday: Most Anticipated Book Releases | July – December 2022

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the lovely Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week a new theme is suggested for bloggers to participate in. This week’s prompt is Most Anticipated Books For the Second Half of 2022.

Hello Readers! I hope this week’s TTT finds you well and safe. Today we’re talking about the books releasing in the second half of 2022 that we’re excited about. I’m trying not to repeat too many of the same books I’ve already mentioned recently, but there may be some overlaps. And some of these are books I’m excited for, but know I may not read anytime soon. I’ll get to them someday, though.

Here are some of the new books I’m anticipating!

(Link to Goodreads synopsis through book title.)

  1. AugustLove on the Brain by Ali Hazelwood (8/23/22) – I finally read and enjoyed The Love Hypothesis this year, so of course Hazelwood’s next romance is going on my TBR.
  2. AugustCarrie Soto is Back by Taylor Jenkins Reid (8/30/22) – I’m hoping I enjoy TJR’s newest book as much as I did Malibu Rising!
  3. SeptemberSpells for Forgetting by Adrienne Young (9/27/22) – September is the month for spells, apparently. πŸ˜ƒ I’m super intrigued by Young’s next YA Fantasy/Mystery set on an island.
  4. SeptemberSpells for Lost Things by Jenna Evans Welch (9/27/22) – I adored Welch’s YA travel romance series, Love & Gelato, and while I’m sad that it’s over, I’m excited for her new book!
  5. OctoberThe Winners (Beartown, #3) by Fredrik Backman (10/4/22) – The first two books in this series were heartbreakingly wonderful. I’m sure this one will be no different.
  6. OctoberBuilt to Last by Erin Hahn (10/18/22) – I read my first book by Hahn last year (Never Saw You Coming) and I’m excited for this one, her first adult debut romance.
  7. NovemberScattered Showers by Rainbow Rowell (11/8/22)- I’m pretty excited about this collection of short stories by Rowell, even though it probably includes a few I’ve already read.
  8. NovemberTwo Wrongs Make a Right by Chloe Liese (11/22/22) – I finally read my first book by Liese (Only When It’s Us) and I’m a fan!
  9. DecemberWell Traveled (Well Met, #4) by Jen DeLuca (12/6/22) – So technically I’ve still only read the first book in this series, but I adored it!
  10. DecemberThe Key to My Heart by Lia Louis (12/6/22) – Louis has become one of my favorite authors, and I’m waiting with bated breath to see if I get approved for her newest romance. Please book gods, do me right! 🀞

Do we share any books on our most anticipated list? Have you read any of these yet? Let me know in the comments!

Happy Wandering!

    1. TJR is very popular! I’m in the minority, but I haven’t loved everything I’ve read by her. I did enjoy Malibu Rising, and Carrie Soto was a side character that appeared in it, so I’m hoping that means I’ll like this one, as well. I hope you enjoy it, too!

      1. She does seem to be everywhere. I have just had too many Blog Tours to get round to reading one of her books, but I am hoping some time soon πŸ™‚

  1. I’m pretty excited for all of these books too! I just noticed the new Fredrick Backman book it sure looks good.

  2. I am lucky enough to have three of those books (Welch, Hahn, and Hazelwood), and like you, I am excited for them all. I just put a pre-release hold on the TJR book. It’s the first one I have read the synopsis for that made me want to do so. Sounds amazing! Louis, DeLuca, Backman are all favorites, and I MUST read their books too.

    1. I was just approved for Welch’s book! Yay! And I have Hahn’s, as well. This will be your first TJR?! I haven’t loved all of her books, but Carrie Soto was a side character in Malibu Rising and I enjoyed that one. I’m hoping it’ll mean I like this one, as well. Fingers crossed we both enjoy all of these!

  3. Great list Dedra. I have a few of these on my TBR, but only two on my most anticipated list today. Enjoy them all.
